Drew Gagner

Northern California Division

Drew Gagner is the Vice President of Philanthropy for CommonSpirit Health's Northern California Division. Most recently he served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at Dominican Hospital Foundation in Santa Cruz, Calif. Prior to this role, he spent almost 20 years with three other Dignity Health foundations, St. Joseph's Foundation of San Joaquin, St. Bernardine Medical Center Foundation and St. Mary Medical Center Foundation. Mr. Gagner has worked closely with foundation staff and board members on a number of fundraising projects, including the successful conclusion of the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Capital Campaign, which helped the foundation raise over $5.2 million. In addition to his current role at Dignity Health, he has worked in fundraising and development positions at hospitals in New York and Connecticut.

Mr. Gagner earned his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Redlands. In addition, he is a fellow of the California Health Leadership College in Berkeley, California.
