Jeanne Jachim is Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, WA. Jeanne’s accountabilities include serving as President of VMFH Foundations, leading and overseeing overall philanthropic vision, strategy and initiatives across the system, as well as oversight of operations, systems, staff and resources of philanthropic efforts.

Ms. Jachim most recently served as President of the Virginia Mason Foundation, which raises philanthropic support for the Virginia Mason Health System including the Hospital and Regional Medical Centers, Benaroya Research Institute and Bailey-Boushay House.

Ms. Jachim has more than 30 years of fundraising experience in health care, social services and higher education. During her tenure as President, the Virginia Mason Foundation has increased overall revenue growth by more than 85%.

In addition to having an MBA, Ms. Jachim completed her fellowship training in the Virginia Mason Production System, the most advanced application of the Toyota Production System in the health care industry. Ms. Jachim is a regular presenter at professional conferences and is a past winner of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) journal professional paper competition for her article on “Major Gift Officers: A Valuable Commodity.”
