Jeanne Jachim is Division Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington. Jeanne’s accountabilities include serving as President of VMFH foundations, leading and overseeing overall philanthropic vision, strategy and initiatives across the system, as well as representing the Pacific Northwest Division’s foundations, supporting and championing these efforts.
Ms. Jachim has more than 30 years of fundraising experience in health care, social services and higher education. She most recently served as President of the Virginia Mason Foundation, which raised philanthropic support for the Virginia Mason Health System. During her tenure as President, the Virginia Mason Foundation increased overall revenue growth by more than 85%. She also facilitated the successful completion of a $100 million comprehensive campaign.
In addition to having an MBA, Ms. Jachim completed her fellowship training in the Virginia Mason Production System, the most advanced application of the Toyota Production System in the health care industry. She serves as board member for the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. Ms. Jachim is a regular presenter at professional conferences and is a past winner of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) journal professional paper competition for her article on “Major Gift Officers: A Valuable Commodity.”
