Kevin Duggan is President and CEO of Mercy Foundation and Vice President of Philanthropy of Woodland Healthcare Foundation.
Among his responsibilities, Kevin oversees the philanthropic efforts of five Dignity Health hospitals throughout the Sacramento area, including Mercy General Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Mercy San Juan Medical Center and Woodland Memorial Hospital. In addition, he is responsible for raising philanthropic support for the Sisters of Mercy ministries that serve the Sacramento community in the areas of education, housing, and care for the poor and elderly.
Prior to joining Mercy Foundation in 2008, Kevin was Executive Director of the Society for the Blind. He has also served as Chief Advancement Officer for the Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (M.I.N.D) Institute at the University of California, Davis Medical Center and as Executive Director of the Chancellor’s Club at University of California, Davis. In addition to his experience in philanthropy and non-profit management, Kevin has worked in the fields of sponsorship marketing and special event management.
Kevin earned both his undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Davis. He is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum’s Mountain Valley chapter and a graduate of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy’s Residency Program.
