Catherine Poludniak is the Foundation Manager for Trinity Health System Foundation, a role she has held since August, 2018. She was a member of the Trinity Health System Foundation board before accepting her manager position.
Catherine grew up in Steubenville, Ohio and was active in her community. Continuing her education she attended Waynesburg University where she earned her bachelor's degree in forensic accounting with a minor in finance. While attending Waynesburg University she created an event that gained national recognition for her fundraising efforts to support research and the awareness movement for pancreatic cancer. After graduating, she continued her education at Franciscan University, where she earned her masters in business administration. During her time at Franciscan University is where she began her local fundraising efforts to support Trinity Health System.
Catherine has a passion for supporting the hospital in her hometown. Catherine co-founded Purple Palooza at the age of 22. This event created a fund at Trinity Health System Foundation for preventative cancer programs and free cancer screenings for members of the Ohio Valley. Purple Palooza raised over $100,000 to support preventative cancer efforts.
Catherine is married to Jason Poludniak and they have a son and two daughters, Jameson, Charlotte, and Penelope. Their young family is active in the community and outdoors. Catherine has been an active adult in the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America, as well as a volunteer parent for the McKinley S.T.E.M. academy. As a family they attend St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. Family and fundraising have always been important to Catherine and for most of her life they have gone hand in hand.
