Brian Hammel is the president of Northridge Hospital Foundation. He has served as the president since 2002. In this role, he oversees fundraising, community outreach, strategic planning, and all operational logistics for the foundation.
Prior to joining Northridge, Mr. Hammel was a Registered Security Representative for CM Financial Services. However, most of his career was spent in professional and collegiate basketball. A third round draft selection for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, Mr. Hammel played professionally in the U.S. and abroad before becoming head basketball coach at Bentley University. He went on to serve as assistant coach for the University of Iowa, associate head coach at the University of Southern California, and then head basketball coach at Northern Illinois University where he led his team to the NCAA Tournament in 1996.
Mr. Hammel received his bachelor’s degree in business from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
