Mercy Corning has been my career home for the past 27 years and the adventure has been wonderful. Serving as the Mercy Health Care Foundation Coordinator, it’s been a privilege to work with talented board members to provide leadership for foundation events and donor connections. The major building projects that have happened with foundation funding have made a difference for our hospital and clinic services to our communities. Two hospital additions, three medical clinics, wellness center and support for major equipment projects such as 3D Mammography, cardiac monitoring system and nurse call system, and numerous small projects have made an impact on local health care.

Other responsibilities I have at Mercy Corning include providing public relations and marketing of our hospital and clinics, volunteer and auxiliary management and chaplain services. These roles have added to the connections established with community members to strengthen our hospital.

Outside of the hospital, I’m very active in the community serving on Chamber and Main Street Boards and committees, local steering committees for Trees Forever and Wellmark Healthy Hometown programs, and pianist for church and youth programs.
