William Curtis is the Vice President of Technology and Innovation for CommonSpirit Health's philanthropy team. In his role, William is responsible for supporting philanthropic investments for CommonSpirit's national initiatives. Additionally, he leads efforts to support the growth of philanthropy across the ministries 80-plus fundraising entities.
Previously, William served as an enterprise solutions consultant for Blackbaud, the world’s leading not-for-profit software company, where he was responsible for implementing strategic design guidance for Blackbaud CRM. He has extensive knowledge of requirement gathering and analysis, business process optimization, software design, system validation, and operation maintenance support for all aspects of a large scale technology implementation.
William was first introduced to philanthropy at Appalachian State University, when he was working in student affairs and studying psychology. William gained a lifelong love for health care philanthropy during his time working at Blackbaud.
William and his wife, Rebecca, reside in Redwood City, California, with their two dogs Lily and Stella.
