Cody Cheney serves as the System Manager of Grant Development with the National Philanthropy team, supporting systemwide grant strategy and development efforts. He joined CommonSpirit Health in 2024 through the Administrative Fellowship Program, where he gained broad exposure to organizational operations and strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining CommonSpirit, Cody earned a Master of Public Administration from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, with a focus on leadership and public service. He also served for six years in the Idaho Air National Guard as a Munitions Systems Technician, an experience that shaped his disciplined and service-oriented approach to leadership.
Raised in Meridian, Idaho, just outside of Boise, Cody maintains strong ties to his community. He currently resides in Nampa, Idaho, with his wife and two young children.
