Eli Irvin is a system support analyst for the CommonSpirit Health’s philanthropy team. Eli joined the ministry in 2020 and brings more than 20 years of IT and systems administration expertise. His breadth of experience includes supporting doctors’ offices and clinics as well as other nonprofit sectors such as housing and church ministry. In his role, Eli supports the technological needs of CommonSpirit’s fundraising entities.
A native of Southwest Georgia and a resident of Savannah, Eli works closely with several nonprofit organizations which are dear to his heart, including Coastal Pet Rescue, The Community of St. Joseph, and the Savannah LGBT Center.
Eli attended Andrew College and Auburn University, studying music education and performance. He is a member of the board of directors for the TNZ Education and Film Foundation which partners with local schools in coastal Georgia to educate high school and college students in the areas of film making and also serves as the catechist and a lay pastoral care counselor at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. He is currently completing the requirements of the education for ministry program at University of the South, once completed, he will be eligible to stand for ordination as a deacon in the Episcopal Church.
