Tamra Buntrock is Vice President of Operations and Finance for CommonSpirit Health's philanthropy team. With over 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Tamra is responsible for the overall operational and financial management of CommonSpirit's fundraising entities.
Tamra has served the ministry since 1995 and has proven skills in multi-foundation operational and financial leadership. She leads system-wide initiatives, develops policies, procedures, and processes, provides leadership in best practice sharing, and contributes to the development and oversight of CommonSpirit’s strategic goals.
Tamra is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Standards Council and the AHP Health Systems Philanthropy Operations Leadership Group. In addition, she has served as a faculty member of the Madison Institute and as a member of several AHP International Conference committees, including serving as International Conference Chair.
Prior to joining CommonSpirit, Tamra was an auditor and tax consultant for Deloitte, an international public accounting firm, where she developed industry specializations in nonprofit organizations, real estate, banking, and employee benefit plans.
Tamra received her bachelor of science degrees in business administration and accounting from the University of South Dakota, where she graduated with highest honors.
