Sonja Day

CHI St. Joseph Health Foundation

Sonja Day has been the Foundation Director at CHI St. Joseph’s Health since 2013. As the leader of the foundation, Day provides oversight for the hospital’s philanthropic initiatives including annual giving, events, grants, employee giving, Grateful Patient programs, scholarships, major gifts and capital campaigns. Day led the foundation in completing a $1.5 million campaign to purchase and renovate space for the hospital’s Community Dental Clinic. 

Sonja’s other responsibilities at CHI St. Joseph’s Health include Communications/Marketing Manager, as well as oversight of the gift shop, volunteer program and fundraising for Hospice Care. 

Sonja enjoys coming to work each and every day serving the community and working with donors who support and embrace the mission of the hospital and rural healthcare. When not in the office, she loves spending as much time as she can with her two sons and being as active as possible.
