Lisa Platt

Mercy Foundation

Lisa Platt has served as Mercy Foundation’s President since 2005. Prior to that, she was the Gift Development Director for Mercy Foundation in 2003 as well as the Regional Director of Gift Development for the Catholic Extension Society, Chicago, IL. In 2001.

For 20+ years she worked in the Insurance Industry and eventually became the Chief Administrative Officer, and Vice President of Administration for a Fortune 500 financial brokerage operation, USI Administrators in Fort Worth, Texas.

At Mercy Foundation she oversees the day-to-day operations of the foundation, which includes not only philanthropy, but also community benefit and health, the wellness and prevention initiatives of Mercy Medical Center and Mercy Foundation, and human trafficking efforts.

Lisa is an experienced fundraising professional with duties that include major and planned gifts, grant administration, event planning and direct solicitations. Mercy Foundation is known for its community collaboration and as being connectors in the community to increase the health equity of its county communities.

Some of her hobbies are, “giggle golf”, karaoke, hiking, and enjoying her best friend, Georgie (2 year-old chiweenie) and the foundation’s Gratitude Ambassador.
