Eric Fenske

System Support Analyst

Eric Fenske is a system support analyst for CommonSpirit Health’s philanthropy team. Eric joined the ministry in 2019 with over eight years of experience in database support and management for nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining CommonSpirit Eric worked with the Entomological Society of America in Annapolis, Maryland.

Eric also serves as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy Reserves. His current duty assignment is as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Defense Finance Accounting Service Unit located in Cleveland, Ohio. He has been a part of the Navy for 21 years, the first five active and the following 16 as a reservist. He has been deployed four times to Europe, Asia and the Middle East, most recently in 2012 where he served in Kuwait.

Eric was born and raised in Canton, Michigan, a suburb located just outside of Detroit. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. He currently lives outside of Cleveland, where he has been since 2004. He has two teenage daughters and a toddler son.
