Amy Modin
Prospect Development Analyst
Amy Modin is a prospect development analyst for CommonSpirit Health’s philanthropy team. In her role, Amy develops relationships with fundraising entities and assists with strategies to strengthen their connections with potential and existing donors. She joined the nonprofit health care sector in 2018, transitioning from private industry operations and management, where she led corporate giving campaigns and community involvement.
Amy is motivated by learning and community action. She has found inspiration in sharing her experiences and examples with others, and is equally passionate about the stewardship of the land and access to human service resources. Such service has included member representation on county corrections boards, neighborhood council meetings, translation of geological surveys, volunteer income tax assistance, and food pantry assistance.
Amy received her bachelor’s degree in art history, a certificate in nonprofit fund development, and her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She is currently a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, a board member of Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement Minnesota Chapter, and a member of Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
