Denitra (Dee) Kitchell is a Philanthropy Data Analyst with CommonSpirit Health’s national philanthropy team. She joined the ministry in 2024, bringing over 15 years of advancement and data management experience, ranging from education to health care.
Her career in the sector began as a volunteer historical interpreter and progressed to staff as a membership manager at a living history museum in Indiana. Denitra has managed members, volunteers and data. Her interest in data management grew over the years after holding roles in a health care advocacy NGO, a clinical health care organization and an educational foundation - during which she obtained her Raiser's Edge Certification (bCRE) in 2015.
She received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in history from Indiana University Indianapolis.
