Michael Baker serves as the Foundation Coordinator for Community Memorial Hospital Medical Services Foundation. Additionally, he has served as Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator at CHI Health Missouri Valley, Iowa since 2008. Working with administration, providers and staff as well as the communities served has been one of the greatest pleasures of his life.

Baker has enjoyed the challenge of fundraising for various projects as well helping to develop a more active and community-engaged Auxiliary, who also hosts events for the betterment of the hospital and five primary care clinics in the county. He is presently the Auxiliary Board President, and coordinates the hospital's volunteer and Chaplain programs. Baker is a member of the Employee Activity Committee which concentrates on employee engagement and he assists with many local events that are supported by CHI Health.

Baker earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and has completed the LEARN training module. He was the Arlington Nebraska (home) Education Foundation Citizen Volunteer of the Year in 2012 and Employee of the Year here in 2014.

Whether it be building a float for a local parade, planning/conducting a golf tournament or wine tasting, or working on a fundraising campaign, Baker thoroughly enjoys working with people, learning their concerns or needs and trying to match foundation and hospital services successfully to each and every patient.
