Cindi Richter is the Director of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. Richter brings with her a background of fundraising in the Kearney community and surrounding areas

Richter previously served as Director of Development of the Kearney Catholic High School Foundation and prior to that, she served with the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau as the Director of Operations overseeing the day-to-day operations of both entities.

As the Director of Development at the KCHS Foundation, Richter coordinated the development activities with the board of directors and event volunteers including development office management, strategic planning, financial resource management, and community, donor, alumni and school relations. Richter also implemented the marketing plan achieving the mission by providing ongoing financial support to the school through annual fundraising events, soliciting major and planned gifts, writing grant proposals, coordinating capital campaigns, promoting alumni activities as well as KCHS Foundation activities.

Under Richter’s leadership, over $4.9 million has been raised in capital campaigns for additions and improvements at Kearney Catholic High School. Through her stellar collaboration with dedicated volunteers, the annual GOLD event has netted over $4.2 million. In addition, the result of her commitment to students and families has led to an increase of over $1 million in scholarship funds.

As a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Business of Science degree with a Marketing emphasis, she is a graduate of the Institute of Organizational Management sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

Cindi also graduated from the Omaha Development Institute and has continued her education in a number of development related programs including the Fundraising Management Program through the University of Nebraska Omaha, the Catholic Leadership Institute, the Omaha Development Institute Planned Giving as well as numerous online development management seminars during her tenure with the Kearney Catholic High School Foundation.
