A Transformative Investment
Local family gives $10 million to expand cardiac care in Arkansas

In May, CHI St. Vincent Foundation in Little Rock, Arkansas received a $5 million gift from Boots and Alan Warrick in support of the upcoming Anthony Center for Advanced Cardiac Care at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary. This gift was a match to a previous $5 million investment from their dear friends, John Ed and Isabel Anthony, for whom the Anthony Center is named.
Recently, the Warricks made an additional gift of $5 million, bringing their total investment to $10 million.
As they shared with Talk Business & Politics, they received an overwhelming response of personal messages following their initial gift — more than 50 in total! These heartfelt notes relayed stories of exceptional care at St. Vincent and thanked them for their gift. That response moved the couple to do even more by making an additional gift.
“There aren’t words enough to express our gratitude to Alan and Boots Warrick for this second $5 million gift,” stated William G. (Gerry) Jones, MD, President of CHI St. Vincent Infirmary. “The Warrick family has always shown its love and support for St. Vincent, and this second gift just proves how much they care about this hospital and our patients. We are truly honored by their generosity.”
CHI St. Vincent Infirmary’s heart program is currently the largest heart program in Arkansas. The addition of the Anthony Center will allow CHI St. Vincent to continue to expand the program for the most complex cases — combining inpatient and outpatient heart care services, including cardiac electrophysiology and cardiothoracic surgery programs, in one location.
Construction is slated to begin in 2027, with an opening in 2028.
Both Boots and I have experienced heart conditions in the past. We know how important it is to have access to quality heart healthcare. That's what we want for our community. We want to make sure that we’re doing our part to help St. Vincent provide care for people in Little Rock and Arkansas.
