Four CommonSpirit Health Philanthropy Professionals Recognized in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy’s 40 Under 40 List

Chicago, Ill. (September 27, 2021) – CommonSpirit Health’s Cortney De Lotto, Jenny Meyers, Janell Samuels and Maggie Trigueros have been selected as members of the 2021 Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) 40 Under 40 list.

The 40 Under 40 program is designed to recognize the future leaders within the health care philanthropy community. AHP is honoring this select group of 40 young philanthropy professionals because they are shaping the future of the health care development industry. Collectively, they are changing the world—one act of philanthropy at a time.

Honorees will be celebrated during AHP’s Annual International Conference taking place virtually on October 20 and 21, 2021.

This year’s four honorees each hold leadership roles within one of CommonSpirit's local foundations and collectively represent more than 25 years of service to the ministry. Cortney De Lotto joined Santa Maria, California’s Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation in 2018 and serves as Manager of Philanthropy, Philanthropic Gifts. Jenny Meyers, who joined French Hospital Medical Center Foundation in San Luis Obispo, California in 2010 as the foundation’s Development Coordinator today serves as its Manager of Philanthropy, Annual Gifts. Kentucky’s Janell Samuels serves as the Market Director of Proposal Development for CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations in Lexington where she has been for nearly eight years. Maggie Trigueros has been with Los Angeles’ California Hospital Medical Center Foundation since 2018 and serves as Director of Philanthropy.
