(April 27, 2023) – CommonSpirit Health is ranked once again among the top high-performing health care fundraisers in North America by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, achieving both the “High Performer: Overall” and “High Performer: Healthcare System.” This recognition celebrates the combined performance of CommonSpirit’s 80-plus fundraising entities across its 20+ state ministry as well as the national efforts of CommonSpirit Health Foundation. CommonSpirit’s philanthropy ministry has consistently been recognized among the industry’s high performers since the inception of this prestigious award in 2016. Last fiscal year, donor-inspired philanthropy contributed roughly 1% positive Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) to CommonSpirit via $300 million in support.
